So..., "RONA" continues to be annoying and linger. We understand and respect everyone having mixed feelings about the situation such as “to mask or not to mask?” or "to network or not to network?" Although, most of our folks are not OVERLY concerned especially if/when they're pretty health-conscious, have strong immune systems, are respectful of oneself and others comfort level, AND responsible individuals. Many have already had it and seem to feel pretty immune to it. Having said that, we still want to ensure the health and safety of all our attendees, guests, crew members, and vendors to be our top priority.
EventQpids and BMG has redesigned all events and the Think Tank gathering experiences following guidelines from the CDC, each different local counties, cities and States in which we're hosting events with some added BMG-style creativity + basic common sense to tackle this situation. We have taken numerous precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of all our attendees. These add-on precautions, modifications and suggestions include the following:
COMMON SENSE + TAKING PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
It's very simple. If you think it's BAD to have any physical gatherings, you definitely should NOT attend any events. Everyone's entitled to their belief and value systems + definitely the awareness of current health conditions. If you are in the high risk pool (or live/in close proximity with someone that is), are highly uncomfortable with RONA - then please, do not register to attend this event (nor shame us for having an event). We promise, no feelings will be hurt there because you’ve gotta do what’s right for YOU :)
BMG COVID-19 MANDATORY TEST REQUIREMENTS: CONSENTED ONSITE RAPID ANTIBODIES TESTING
As entrepreneurs and respectful fellow human beings, we take this whole “RONA” situation very seriously. To ensure the health and safety of ALL our participants; attendees will be asked to give/sign a consent form for us to do an ONSITE Rapid Antibodies Test for COVID-19 upon arrival at the event. There’s no additional cost for this test (valued $120 per test) and will only require you to do this one-time test with a drop of your blood (by a little prick on the finger by a designated health care professional.) It will take approximately 10-15 minutes to receive results on whether one has been exposed to COVID-19 in the past few months and whether one has antibodies that help provide an extra layer of protection and peace of mind before stepping into the gathering. This way, everyone can feel even safer on top of abiding by all other CDC and State orders regarding COVID-19 Health and Safety protocols such as wearing masks at all times and physical-distancing.
CONTROLLED AND CONTACTABLE PARTICIPANTS
All attendees MUST be pre-registered prior to attending with pre-assigned seating so we know who is in the room, where they’ve seated and have ways of contacting each and every attendees prior and after the events in the odd chance that we need to “trace” them.
LIMITED NUMBER OF GUESTS MAXED AT 100
We will have no more than 100 attendees for this event - which is under 50% capacity of our hosting venues so there's more "fresh air" to go around.
SYMPTOMS AND TEMPERATURE CHECK UPON ARRIVAL
All guests will have their temperature checked via our no-contact thermometer as well as a verbal verification with each attendees health condition on the day of the event.
COLORED WRISTBANDS
All attendees will be given FOUR different colored wristbands to choose from - with each indicating their own comfort level for “physical-distancing.” E.g., GREEN stands for Elbow or Fist bump friendly; YELLOW stands for contactless networking; BLUE stands for people who completely do not mind being social and are in desperate need for some TLC; and RED are for those who are being ultra cautious about physical distancing and can subtly allow others to gracefully respect their need for distance and space when interacting.
MASKS
We've not made wearing masks mandatory but welcome and encourage anyone who wishes to wear a mask or desires to do anything preventative to feel completely comfortable doing so. We will also be offering the disposable version of O2TODAY MASKS - one of the best protective masks on the planet available as free gift to all participants (https://o2today.com)
MD HANDS AND SURFACE SPRAYS
A proud BMG member's own - clinically tested on SARS-CoV-2 virus (the cause of COVID-19 disease) proven to kill up to 98% of pathogens on contact. The spray will be abundantly available throughout the event venue for Level-10 OCD disinfection and sanitization for both hands and high-touch surfaces. (https://www.mdsurface.com)
NO HANDSHAKES PLEASE
We will be strongly discouraging handshakes at this event. We’ve noticed people have a habit of doing so. But we know there’s no way people are not going to touch their own faces during those two days! A better alternative to greeting would be ELBOW or FIST BUMPS. Ladies are also welcome to BUTT BUMP should they choose to or, are soul sisters. Butt Bumps for guys can be a little awkward, but hey, no judgement here.
HUGGERS - shall hug at their own risk!!!
MANDATORY HAND-WASHING BREAKS
At each break between the Tank Sessions, all guests are asked to wash their hands. We will also be passing hand sanitizers around every hour.
ASSIGNED SEATING AND TABLES
We will be seating 6-8 guests per round-table for the Think Tank sessions. However, we also will be offering those guests who are more concerned or prefer to sit at tables with less people. The option will be available to all and can seat them at tables of 4's so they are further apart. If it is your preference to sit at tables of 4’s, please be sure to let us know beforehand be emailing Melissa Garrett at MG@bmgthinktank.com
INDIVIDUALLY PACKED BOXED LUNCHES + BUFFET DINNER WITH DESIGNATED STAFF WEARING GLOVES AND MASKS TO SERVE ALL ATTENDEES
CODE OF HONOR PLEDGE
All attendees are required to sign a Code of Honor PLEDGE - pledging that they've NOT had any symptoms that indicates or suggests they MAY have COVID within 14 days of the event; and that in the event symptoms were to develop within 14 days of the event, they MUST inform us and opt-out of attending.
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM
All attendees are also required to sign a waiver and release form that they understand and will take full personal responsibility in the Health and Safety of themselves and for others. At the end of the day, we are all (intelligent) adults here. All we request is common sense and do what’s best and right for yourself and others in the room.
HIGH-RISK ATTENDEES
We kindly request that anyone who has any potential compromised health concerns (including living with or are in regular close proximity with someone who is) considered in the High-Risk Pool to please NOT attend this event. We send you our love and hope to see you in a future event.
